How Does Regenerative Cell Therapy Work?
Regenerative cell therapy is injected into the area of pain, and unlike the typical cortisone shots, which just “cover up” the pain, the regenerative cell therapy provides pain relief and promotes healing. The cells arrive cryogenically frozen and are thawed on the day of injection in the office. Following the injection, patient recovery time varies but typical activity is reduced from around 7-10 days. Results do vary and may give relief from a few months to permanently. Patients may also only need one treatment while others may need more spread out over time. Regenerative cell therapy remains a viable option for patients before surgical intervention.
Specialty areas include, but are not limited to: foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, bunion and hammertoe correction, sports related injuries, ankle arthroscopy, tendon and ligament injuries, arthritis, diabetic limb salvage, PRP, stem-cell therapy, and foot and ankle trauma.
